How a Blocked Nose May Shrink Your Brain

If you have brain fog, check your breathing!

A recent study showed chronic sinus inflammation can cause lower brain function. The link may be due to lowered oxygenation of the blood and brain during sleep, linked with snoring.

To read more on the study you can check out my latest Instagram post.

On the Mouth Brain Connection Podcast last week we hosted specialist ENT surgeon Dr. David McIntosh to educate us on the interface of nasal breathing and snoring in kids and adults.

Dr. David McIntosh works closely with Helix Dentistry to help our patients breathe easier!

We’re just two weeks out from our event in Terrigal on Saturday 24th of February.

Shhh, at this event there will be a VERY big announcement we are proud to be hosting. LOTS of giveaways and special goodies in the give away bag.

For health professionals, our event is CPD registered for 6.5 hours, so come along and earn your education points (this will need to be a full price ticket to qualify).

Join Australian of the Year James Muecke, Dr. Anthony Chaffee, specialist Pran Yoganathan, Steven and Cassandra Lin and more!
